June's almost here
I have some awesome friends. Lauren, Kaleena, Kristina, they're just great. Kaleena tonight brought up the point that it's sad that we're all going to have to say goodbye in a couple of months, and that she probably won't be back for extended periods of time next summer or anything. It's sad. I'm glad I get along with my parents better than she does with hers. I can't imagine not having that support system that I'm so lucky to have. But I hope she does come back somehow, because we all have such a good time together. Sigh. Oh well. What happens will happen.

Italy
I keep thinking about Italy. I just can't stop. I sooooo very much want to go there. Like nothing else. I just think it'd be an absolutely amazing experience. I mean, it's ITALY. I really don't have anything else to say. I just very very very much want to go.
Oh yeah so there's a very promising lead on the job front. Yesterday in the paper Mom and I saw an ad in the paper for a cashier, with the company that does the cafeteria thing at Dad's work at Oracle. So today I went to have lunch with him and ask them for an application. They didn't have any applications, but I talked to the people who are "in charge" I guess, and the whole temporary thing that I would be obviously was a notch against me, but I guess they're pretty desperate, so I'm hoping. Although, the thing about it is it's like 5 or 6am until 1pm ish, and that's quite early. But I'd get done pretty early in the afternoon which is good. But it's also quite far away. But it's a job. And I won't get like a discount on any fun items like I would working at some type of store. But it's a job. And at this point I guess I can't be too picky. After I had lunch with Dad I did go down to that pet item store, on Woodmen, and I asked them if they'd hired anyone yet, etc, just to show them that i'm interested and whatnot. And I'll probably either call or stop by again sometime this week. Sigh. You know, on the one hand, working at a store where I'd get discounts on stuff (like CDs or books or movies) would be cool cause I'd get the stuff for cheaper, but it'd also just encourage me to buy more and spend more of my money. Whereas if i'm just working a job somewhere where all I get is money and no discounts, I'll have more and be more selective about my spending and thus won't spend as much on the frivolous stuff that I really want but don't really need (like CDs or books or movies). Sigh. Of course, I don't know how easy it would be for me to like go back to this job at Oracle next summer or over breaks or whatever, like some people can do with their jobs at restaurants or maybe even retail stores. That's something I wanted to consider as well, but...beggars can't be choosers, so having this just for the summer is better than having nothing forever. Oh well.
Peter took me to see Kicking and Screaming tonight, since he gets in free (and one other person) because he works there. And he wanted to go see it. I didn't have anything else to do. It was fun enough.
And that's my life right now. Incredibly boring, no? At least last night I had fun with Lauren, Kaleena, and Kristina who came and slept over. Twas a fun night. And that's always good. I showed Lauren and Kristina (and Kaleena for whatever part she was awake) all the dirty stuff in the Disney movies (the cover of Little Mermaid, the...excited...priest in Little Mermaid, the word "sex" in Lion King, and the amusing comment, the subliminal message, in Aladdin). It was amusing, especially seeing Kristina's reaction. Hehe. Anyway though. Tomorrow I'm picking up Cathy to take her to get her haircut, and I'll watch Jason while she's doing that, and then we have to go to the mall. Not sure what else I'm doing. Don't know of any other job leads to check out. Oh yeah Palmer's graduation is at 9am. I want to go, but I don't know if anyone else is going...Ray's the valedictorian so I want to hear his speech. I'll probably still go, but yeah. We'll see. So there you go.

I was thinking about something interesting to write for no reason, but the truth is, I have nothing interesting to write about. My life is just about as boring as it can be right now. No school, no job, no nothing. I need something. Sigh. Well, here's hoping for something interesting to happen so I'll have something good to write.
I get bored too easily
Here we are, another year, another blog. I don't know. We'll see how I like this. Right now I really like it. But we'll see.
